S80, because the Lucerne doesn't come in RHD. And because it's a better car in every way, I'd guess.

American reliability and cheap easy to work on repairs if needed.

Volvo, because the 2012 Lucerne is actually a 2011, and Volvos are cool.

S80 for sure. My parents have a 2006 Lucerne CXL. It's nice on the highway but a total bore in town. It's very old school Buick, a boat on the road with handling to match. My parents like to float so it fits them.

Volvo, that interior is something from my contemporary dreams, plus it looks niecer, feels nicer and is much more comfortable.

Volvo, because recalls and forever questionable quality. With the Volvo, I already know what I'm getting into. The interior is also a lot nicer.
